So, I’m completely new to the “blog link-up” etiquette, so I am still not sure if I am doing this right, but I’m going to attempt my first “What I’m Loving Wednesday.” I would click on the image to see a blogger do this correctly…but here it goes.
The last six weeks have been a sleepless blur. The last few nights have gotten little B Bear a little closer to long stretches of sleep which makes mommy feel like a new person in the morning. His new sleep schedule coupled with my husband making his way home has been life changing…LIFE CHANGING.
So my first WILW is the fact that daddy comes home every night!
Best. Monday. EVER! |
So, I’ve talked at length in the last three posts about Bennett’s sleep schedule. I have been trying to follow the schedules in Moms On Call and I would suggest this for any new mommy who would like to have a better estimation of when her baby is going to need to eat, sleep, and play.
Moms On Call is pretty clear about swaddling a baby up to three months in their own flannel blankets, but let’s face it, babies kick out of blanket swaddles. Cue my favorite new mommy tool: SwaddleMe swaddles:

There is nothing better than a tool that makes a mom’s life easier, and I’ve found that a little velcro goes a long way. Love these bad boys.
Ok…so I really enjoy putting outfits together. Lately, it has been a bit difficult to do so as most of my outfits have permanent spit-up on the shoulders. Still, I like to look somewhat stylish around the house. As a result, I have started stocking up on tees that are comfortable, flowy, somewhat stylish, and practical.
Linen drapey v-tee target.com $12.00 |
Valorie V Neck Threads for Thought $12.00 |
These aren’t glamorous, but they sure are wonderful. Threads for thought tees may be the softest tees I have ever worn.
I LOVE vintage inspired dresses. There is nothing more attractive to me than modest a-line skirts with cinched waists. Thanks to targeted ads, I’ve found the beauty of Eshakti dresses. Here is just a preview of one that would be great for Easter:

Speaking of Easter, We CAN’T WAIT for Bennett’s first Easter on Sunday. We already have his outfit all planned out and ready to go. I waited a little too long to purchase his Easter Basket on Pottery Barn Kids, so that purchase may have to wait for now. Look forward to more family pictures on Monday!
