I am currently tinkering with a new project: my first attempt at writing a novel. It is more for practice really, but it is something I am very excited about. Most Fridays from here forward will be pretty scant on the blog as I dedicate my writing hour to working on this particular project. Stay tuned for updates. For now, here is the five on Friday!

Brooke has been a faithful swim team manager for three years. I don’t know what I would have done without her help. She was my right hand for the moments I simply could not be present…and she was awesome. She is one of the loveliest people I know.
Sarai is joy: pure, unfiltered, unadulterated joy. She is the heart and soul of Chamblee and has been my go-to for strength on the tough days. I will be doing well as a parent if Bennett has half of the joy that Sarai has. I will miss this sweet girl so very much.
