I’m doing some serious Pinterest-ing today to find the healthiest classic Christmas Cookie recipes.
I want to bake with my little boy, but don’t want to give him table sugar quite yet; #ChristmasBakingProblems.
Here are five ways to satisfy your sweet tooth and let baby join in on the fun. Thanks to all the bloggers (who I didn’t ask, but will shamelessly promote because these recipes are great). Shoutout to all my ladies doing the work for me today.
1. Skinnytaste’s Low Fat Gingerbread Cookies
Let’s be real, my recipe roundup wouldn’t be complete without a shout-out to my girl, Gina, who has seriously fed my family for the last three and a half years.
2. Whole Wheat Refined Sugar Free Cookies from Sugarfree Mom
I have no idea what sucanot is…but perhaps I can try with coconut sugar? These look fun.
3. Guilt free Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies from favorite family recipes
These look divine. I need these in my belly. Stat.
4. Healthy Avacado Chocolate Cookies by the Smoothie Lover
I’ve seen this avocado for butter in a few food bloggers sweet recipes. I am determined to try it (and like it). Josephine, a.k.a. The Smoothie Lover, reassures me that I will not be led astray. Healthy omega 3 fatty acids for baby, dark chocolate for mama.
5. Frozen yogurt peppermint bark by My Fussy Eater
Girlfriend knows what’s up. I need some sweet peppermint bark in my life. Still, little man can’t have honey, so I’m going with coconut sugar instead. Also, he can’t have strawberries (face rash and such). So, we’ll add some peppermint extract, dark chocolate chips, coconut, and cranberries too.
Any recipes that y’all are using this holiday season?
